My name is Antonis Makrigiannis.
I was born in 1976 in Athens, Greece.

Back in the Amstrad and later the Amiga era, I remember myself being astounded by watching demos... a combination of animated graphics and music.

Growing up I had no problem deciding what I was going to do...

In 1997, I entered the field of 3d animation/graphic design when I started my studies at AKTO college in 3d graphics animation and multimedia production. Since graduating, I have been working in this field and constantly training myself...

I am currently working in the multimedia/internet department of FHW as a graphic designer/animator. Beside that, I also undertake projects as a freelancer.

My interests also include research and experimentation in VJ-ing
(I am improving my skills and hope on performing in the near future).

I am an active member of Visual Communication Designers Club
where I write under nick "an1m8or". There, you can also find my
participations to the "Optiko Lexiko" e-mag and the VCDCworm.

Other activities I enjoy is sharing some of my photos in www.sxc.hu
online community of free stock photography, offering hospitality and helping travellers in Greece by being an active member of the
Hospitality Club project. Recently, I have also finished the greek translation of this site, which will be online soon.

Other interests of mine include:
technology, photography, music, cinema, travelling, ecology, nutrition, fitness and study of strange phenomena.
